I bought this discounted at Menards because it had a small dent on the side but it still came with a warranty. I had it installed and it made a clunking sound. After days on the phone with LG and Menards it was evident no one was going to step up and fix the dryer or refund my money.

Bought this dryer as a matching unit to my WT7155CW washer. The glass door is great but a light inside the drum would be beneficial. The controls are simple. The drying sensor is accurate except when drying large sheets that have balled tightly. Changing the door hinge to the opposite direction was simple straight forward and revealed the quality hardware used in this product. This dryer is much quieter than the one it replaced. Model selection was based on the washer we purchased but the brand selection was based on projected reliability reports.

I bought this particular dryer because of great reviews a very good sale price Black Friday and some specific features I was looking for that are very hard to find especially in the price range I was looking at - warning lights for when the filter needs to be cleaned which is after virtually every load but people forget and for when the dryer hose/vent needs to be cleaned which people completely forget about for years at a time. By the way I am probably among the most analytical consumers you will find so when I buy something its been fully researched and this dryer passed my test which I think says a lot.

Our new LG washer and dryer are unlike our 27 year old Maytags Our clothes are cleaner and fresher smelling the machines are easier to use and the LG units are quieter and more efficient surprise surprise It took a while to understand how to operate them but there was never any doubt that theyre more modern quieter and a pleasure to use. The LG units also offer larger capacity so we are able to increase laundry load size while using the same amount of energy and water as the older machines. Also the LG units are more attractive and pleasant to look at modern and functional with touch sensors instead of knobs and dials.

This is a sad story but ends well. Our new driver was delivered but the workmen took off without checking it. We turned it on and there was this loud noise and we got a PS notice. Lowes sent a person quickly and said the dryer was defective. Our new one just delivered seems quite and fast. The only problem is we bought the extra warranty on the defective dryer and now need help in cancelling that policy and reapplying it to the new one. Hopefully one of your assistants can truly assist.

The dryer goods a good job drying clothes. Simple to use. Wish it had a light inside of it. My old LG dryer which lasted 10.5 years had a light in it. Difficult to see some clothes like socks in the dryer at night. Should bring back the light.
