I bought my stove two weeks ago and tonight used the grittle plate and it is now stained.Im so disappointed because now my stove looks ugly and dirty. Is there any warrant on this part?

I have owned my stove for 3 years and the griddle has never worked from day one. Food would get stuck no matter how much grease you placed and it would get stains and the stains do not come out and it makes my beautiful stove look old and dingy. I wish they never placed these griddle on the stove the same goes for the grates. You can tell theyre both made from the same material.

Ive had my new stove for 2 weeks after 1 single use of the griddle it is permanently stained. Now my new stove looks horrible. Has the LG design team solved the problem? Is there a replacement that works? If not I would like my griddle replaced with a new one that I will not use. This way at least my stove will look nice despite a griddle that is defective.

My griddle plate coating has chipped and is now starting to peel. What in the world??? Came online to see if it can be replaced and not only do I see an extremely expensive replacement but horrible reviews on the same product. I wont be purchasing another griddle from LG. Something is not right with these griddles.

We have had our LG gas oven for 4 weeks and have used our griddle pan twice. Before I go further I must explain we are frequent cast iron users. We have refurbished and re seasoned well loved cast iron like they were trashed before we got our hands on them. This is not a gridle that will season well a well seasoned cast iron piece is not stained and is smooth to the touch. This griddle pan is very rough and permantly stains after a grilled cheese. We have decided to use a similar sized well known brand cast iron pan when we use our griddle burner.

Love the stove--hate the griddle. Ive had the stove since late Nov 2023 and not yet found a way to like this griddle.
Ive read other reviews where it states to season like cast iron. Ive tried and it doesnt work. The griddle material
is more akin to a powder coated griddle rather than cast iron. And powder coating isnt for cooking. I had a different model LG stove before I moved and purchased this one--and its NON STICK griddle was just that--non stick.
On top of that I called LG Parts in Dec to inquire about the issue--was told I would be sent a replacement and that was the last Ive heard of it. Finally decided to go this route today after trying to unstick blueberry pancakes from this powder coated griddle.

Worst griddle ever We were so excited to get our new range with the griddle pan included. We previously had a KitchenAid range with a griddle pan that we used for 10 years and loved it so were happy to have that option again. Well we were quickly disappointed. Tried making pancakes on it and they stuck cooked unevenly and it just turned out to be a big mess Tried again the other day with grilled cheese sandwiches and while they didnt stick they burned on half and undercooked on the other half. I gave the pan plenty of time to preheat too. It also doesnt come clean. Will not be using it again.

Just received this stove for days ago. We use the griddle for the first time to cook some steaks. We prepped the griddle with olive oil. Prior to washing we scraped with a rubber spatula to get loose food off the top of the griddle. Teflon was peeling off. For the price of the stove this should not be an issue. No I didnt

I just bought an LG Signature duel fuel double oven range that included the rather heavy cook top griddle. Like almost all of you this griddle is clearly not non-stick and totally messed up my attempts at making morning pancakes. It took quite an effort to remove most of the burned spots on the griddle even after soaking it overnight. I then contacted LG support and was advised to contact LGs Concierge team for resolution. Whoa - I must be a special person
Actually it should be no stars. I was given a phone number to call. The customer service rep was obviously offshore but was very easy to understand and responsive. His initial solution was to send out a service rep to check it out. I told him that would be a waste of time because all the rep would see is a griddle that had most of the baked on stuff still on it - what could a service rep do? Then he suggested he would send me a new griddle. My response was why do that when I would likely experience the same issue as before and as many of you have posted on this board. OK he said he would push this up to management and they would contact me.
The point of my posting is that its incomprehensible that LG would design a griddle $238 that does not function as intended. Obviously LG product designers need to acknowledge that this griddle is worthless go back to the drawing board and redesign an accessory that functions as advertised. So Im looking forward to what I hear from Management. Meanwhile back to using my non-stick frying pan for pancakes.

The Teflon started coming off the griddle after using for one year. The griddle was oiled before each use but that did not prevent the Teflon from peeling off. Very poor quality product.

The griddle is terrible. Its the farthest thing from nonstick you can imagine and it stained on first use. Incredibly disappointing. Salvaged our meal but not without a huge mess and ruining half the food first.

The griddle is nearly useless. It will strain on first use and supposedly has a non-stick surface. Let me tell you the non-stick surface is worthless and worse now you cant use a metal utensil. I guarantee LG did no testing on this griddle.

Just tried to use the griddle for the first time. What a disaster. Everything stuck to the griddle and very hard to clean. This is not a non-stick surface. The griddle is not worth the money.

This griddle is very poor. The food sticks to it no matter how much oil shortening etc. is applied to it. It is a very porous surface. I owned another model ThinQ range and the griddle on it was a smooth surface. Had no problem cooking on that one. Not at all happy with this.
