When these filters start to clog they will cause the vacuum to surge. You can clean them once or twice but after that theres no saving them. Ive tried the LG recommended cleaning method and also blowing them out with compressed air. They also foster bacteria and start to smell bad if youre not careful about drying them and using lots of lysol. Theyre disposable and need to be replaced several times per year but the $20 price tag makes that difficult.
The only good thing is that they do filter the exhaust air well.

My LG vacuum is about 3 years olds and needed a new filter. It has better suction and cleans better now

It works as expected and my only issue is with the cost and the time it took to fulfill the order. If Im going to pay for shipping I shouldnt have to wait a full week before the product is actually shipped out.

I heard a crackling sound from my vacuum when I turned it off so I bought this a couple weeks ago hoping it would correct the problem. Its a Christmas miracle because it worked It was $19.99 from LG and $40-$70 on ebay. ouch

Needed to replace after seeing how dirty my old one was. I had a little trouble locking the new one into place. After a few tries and using a dishwasher glove it finally locked it.

My stick vac had a bad smell after using it in an old beach house. I purchased this filter along with the smaller soft green filter to replace those on my vacuum. Problem solved

I made the mistake of cleaning a dirty litter box and I could not get the smell out of the vacuum cleaner. I decided to replace the HEPA filter to see if that would work and bam no more smell. Easy to install and gave my cord zero a new look.
