Great oven! Touchy controls...

I love my new Bosch oven! It looks nice and was easy to install. It works well and bakes evenly. The temperature seems to be calibrated correctly so that everything I bake comes out well...nice even baking and no overly cooked areas. The only thing that is an issue, is that the controls are touchy. We have a cooktop installed in the counter space above the oven and we tend to lean against the oven when using the cooktop. When we do this, the oven child lock tends to turn on and off, as well as the oven lights. So far the oven itself hasn't inadvertently turned on, however, the oven temperature was changed at one point while we were cooking on the cooktop and baking at the same time. You have to be careful not to lean into the contertop in front of the oven.

I purchased this 800 series after almost a year wait. The wait was worth the effort. This oven has so far (a few months) be that good. It is the quietest thing I have ever experienced. Just using the normal get to temp setting is still very fast. It gets to 450 quickly. The controls are simple though anything new takes some getting used to. The door is a soft close. Just push it gently and forget it. As i would expect it holds a steady temp and you can tell when you open the door no heat is escaping. The bottom rack is set as a sliding rack. I have not used it much but its a benefit. If you are considering this series I can recommend it highly.

I waited almost a year for this oven and it was worth the wait. I love convection cooking and glad I could keep that option. This oven is super quiet and has muttiple settings to go from convection to conventional cooking. And it looks even better than the oven it replaced! Very happy with the purchase

We puchased this bullt in oven (and a speed oven) to replace a double oven we had when we did our kitchen remodel. This oven heats up quickly, the temp probe and roast functions are great and easy to use and it looks great! Also quiet and easy to clean

The 800 series is a fantastic upgrade to our kitchen. We're waiting now on the corresponding stove/oven since the Wall Oven has exceeded our expectations.
The feature-rich oven is easy to use and fun to explore. With multiple convection options, you'd think it was overkill but they really enhance the cooking/baking experience. And who knew having a built-in wifi option would turn out to be the most 21st century "can't live without" feature you'd run across? Now, we can start the oven on the way home from work and have it ready to go when we arrive. Also, having an app that allow you to check to see if the oven is on or off at any time has put our minds at ease when we travel.
The only drawback? Not the price. Not the features. But perhaps going forward Bosch can make the clock face just a little larger? You know, looking across the room at the oven, some of us need a bit more help in the font size department!
Love the 800 series Wall Oven - would buy it again no questions asked.

Nice oven. I like the features and the quick pre heat times. I have it installed under my range top so its amongst the bottom cabinets. The only problem is if I'm not careful while cooking on the range top and lean against the counter, I accidently turn on the oven light. Oh well.

We've owned high end and apartment sized ovens and the Bosch 800 Series oven is far away the best we've ever owned. The oven cooks evenly and the temps are spot on. We absolutely love the wifi connectivity for preheating and timer notifications. So happy we went with the entire Bosch kitchen suite.

We have owned many high end ovens and have always been dissapointed. Wolfe and Viking to name a couple. Since we cook almost every night a good oven is important. This oven has not disappointed. Get this oven and you will see what I mean by the best oven you will own. Thanks for the great customer service and quality oven.

This is one of the best ovens we have ever own. It makes Wolf, Viking and all others look pretty bad. The convection cooking is just flat out amazing. Too much to complement on this oven. Get it and enjoy great cooking experiences. Don't waste you money on other brands...get this one!

Had to wait quite a while for this oven because of all the Covid backlogs. However, it was worth the wait. After purchasing we got into making bread and discovered the prove option which was great! The only thing we find as a drawback is the placement of the cancel button. For some reason, we both automatically chose that as the enter button. We have had to restart the oven on a number of occasions.

Excellent oven with dark interior is a real plus, multiple racks with one easy slide makes for multiple options with baking. Love the convec oven which I have had for many years but this one is best so far. Quick to heat up, even baking, touch panel is great. You don't need a job aid to use the oven!!!!! Keep up the great touch panel logic and intuitive design. Future options include showing the user what to do next with options on the panel. The controls light up for next touch point option. Use software driven updats through WiFi to enhance existing appliance vs having to swap out and buy new for latest control features.

I do not know where to begin in letting people know what a great this oven is. It is set up on my cell phone that I can pre-set the oven to turn on before I get home from work. What a time saver. There are several options for cooking with this oven. Bake, Convection Bake, Roast, Convection Roast, Broil and Convection Broil. However, it also has Warming, Pizza, and Proofing. The pizza setting makes homeade pizza or frozen pizza perfectly. Never a raw crust in the middle. I also have used the warming when the dinner is done but the sides are not quite finished. It holds everything without overcooking. This oven also comes with a Probe feature. It automatically shuts off the oven when the food reached the temp you set. We wanted all our Bosch appliances to have that "Built in Look". We did add the Induction cook top. Looks great and they more than exceeded our expectations. Can't say enough about this oven. The only con is that the contractor had a problem with the measurement to install the oven in the cabinet. I guess the European measurements do not match up with the USA measurements. Our contractor was able to correct it. Because of all the features I did have to read the instruction booklet serveral times. Once you understand the features of the oven you will love it.

Just received my new oven after a 9 month wait. Its easy to use and heats up quickly. My only issue is it is installed below my range top. When I lean on the counter while cooking on the stove top, I keep turning the oven light on! A little frustrating but it's a result of where I had to install it.

I love this oven! It cooks food perfectly, is so easy to understand and program. The bottom rack just glides out. I wish all the racks did but it doesn't take anything away from how fabulous it is. And it's so modern and beautiful to look at!

The oven is a pleasure to use. The cooking controls are easy to use and function as described in the owner's use manual. We really appreciate the convection cooking feature. Our only issue is the occurrences (three) of faults with unexplained error codes. Our contacts with the manufacturer each time lacked a defining explanation of the error codes causes and effects. I disconnected the electrical breaker the first time for lack of any other solution from the manufacturer. The subsequent two occurrences with different situations resulted in "you might try disconnecting the power". The disconnection of power seems to be the common solution. Our electrical system is well grounded and fairly recently installed (16 years).

I absolutely love they way this oven cook but the controls must have been designed by a man who never cooks. Its really counter intuitive. I'm always searching for something that eludes me. Can be very frustrating. But i do love the soft touch door closure and how it bakes. Bosch you could have done better though.

This oven has flaws listed in other reviews but also beware: There are huge vent holes in the oven door that open to a space between the double panes of glass. If you mistakenly drip ANY THING in these gaps as you remove something from the oven, it WILL drip down and FOREVER LIVE BETWEEN THE GLASS. We have a brand new oven with permanent and VERY VISIBLE on the glass door that are competely unable to be cleaned away without dismantling the entire door "which is not recommended" according to the Bosch help line. TERRIBLE DESIGN FLAW!

Well, I can say that our new Bosch oven looks nice. We don't have much experience with it yet though. Part of that is not wanting to actually cook in it until we get the temperature under control. Our oven thermometer, which we have used extensively, reads 25° less than what the oven is set at. So the oven shows 350° but the thermometer shows 325°. We tried doing the calibration and while it seemed to fix it at one temperature none of the other temperatures read true. 350° worked, but not 375° or 400°.
The manual is less than useless and and spending 30 minutes on hold to get through to their customer service line to have somebody flip through the manual and tell me what I already read was even more useless, if that's possible. Kind of disappointing that I've got a $3000 oven and I'm going to have to call a service person to come out here and see what can be done. I don't care if it doesn't cost money, it costs time. And you know, I really don't want to have to spend time adjusting the temperature in my head because the oven doesn't work correctly. So until we actually get it working, at least it looks good.

There's a weird noise coming out of this oven when it's on - I sent Bosch support a video with that and they recommended calling their other support number with ridiculous hold times to make an appointment. Not how I expect support to respond. This is also a replacement of an older model that recently failed.

We really like our new Bosch 800 Series wall oven. The controls are really easy to read (although I wish the Settings and Enter/Start buttons were reversed to be the same as the 800 Series Microwave directly abve it), the racks glide easily, the convection setting is so simple, the light goes on when you open the door, and it preheats quickly.
