This fridge has plenty of room and works great. Not any noisier than our old fridge. The only drawback so far is we haven™€™t got the shelves to just the right levels for everything but they have plenty of adjustable levels so we will get there.

I Love my new Refrigerator! It's the latest version of the same Refrigerator I chose 5 years ago. Just before the end of my 5 year warranty. I filed what I thought would be a repair claim for my Refrigerator because it wasn't getting as cold as it used to. I had to set it a a colder setting than I used to. Instead of repairing it, I was BLESSED with this brand new version of the one I chose. The "upgrades" were REAL. The new HANDLE-LESS model is much more stylish than the older one. And I Absolutely love the removal of the butter tray and the addition of the clear completely blocked-in door shelves that prevent items from falling out!

Find a refrigerator was a tough process. I originally wanted a Frigidaire however the model I wanted was not in stock at Home Depot.After reviewing several I chose a Maytag. it was not attractive and it was very loud ™€“ it actually buzzed. In addition it did not keep my food cold enough for my liking. My job has taught me OSHA food standards so I am picky. I called Home Depot told them I needed something else and explained that I originally wanted this Frigidaire refrigerator model the representative said ™€œoh we have that in stock.™€ Now I have the fridge I wanted originally and it is stylish and keeps my food very cold.

This refrigerator seems to work well and has more space for items than the side by side it replaced of the supposed same size. The freezer is spacious and I wished it would have come me with a basket to help keep things sorted. The fridge part we notice the lowest rack in the side door is placed low to the floor. It has a lot more room, just lower than what we are used too. We are taller than average and really notice that. 5'9" and 6' tall; age 67 & 70. Overall, it is much better than the older fridge we had. We have had the new fridge at this writing less than two months.

The top hinge was bent upon setup, but I suspect it was bent by the installers when switching to a left hand door as I required for my kitchen setup. I supplied some tools to straighten it enough to reattach the freezer door. The fridge does work great so far.

Our new Frigidaire 20.0 Cu.Ft Top Freezer/Refrigerator is much nicer than I was anticipating. The inside is very large and well lit! The doors close smoothly and are "reversible" if you so choose. It is very quiet and without all the "bells and whistles" that many people may desire. This is actually an "extra" unit we have in our garage. We had always feared that if our kitchen refrigerator were to go bad or need repair, we would need an alternate way to keep food cold and frozen. Well, it happened the 4th of July weekend and fortunately we had our Frigidaire and we were able to transfer our food from the kitchen refrigerator to our "backup" refrigerator. For the price, it is an EXCELLENT choice!!

Decent refrigerator

I replaced a 17 year old 18 cf GE top freezer refrigerator with this one. The GE condenser fan recently became too noisy. The new Frigidaire 20 cf unit was reasonably priced, 10% larger capacity with similar exterior dimensions, 2" wider and 2" deeper, about the same height. Noticeably more quiet, not silent, but OK. I purchased and installed the optional IM117000 ice maker myself. Toughest part was screwing in the mounting screws in straight. I used a philips screwdriver by hand, but probably should have used the square-bit that was recommended, and used a power drill. I assume that would have helped screw in more straight and flush. But everything works. It helps to review available YouTube videos of the ice maker installation. Took 24 hours or so to make enough ice initially, but now provides plenty. I was concerned about some reviews on the ice cubes being too small, but mine are perfect. Freezer and refrigerator temp seems fine. Unit makes some strange noises occasionally though...not loud, but sounds like coolant straining, moaning, squeaking moving through the internal tubes, hopefully goes away over time. Again, not a major issue. Overall, I'm pleased with the new fridge. 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the random squeaking noises and the difficulty getting the icemaker mounting screws in straight and flush into the side and top of the freezer compartment.
